Where does the training take place?
Most of my clients are directly from Liverpool or the surrounding areas. There are various options. You could come to use my well equipped personal training studio in Wavertree, South
Liverpool. Alternatively, we can train together in the city parks and work out together at your home or near to your workplace. That does not mean, however, that I do not sometimes take
longer trips to get to know new running paths in your area. Just contact me. I am sure we will find a solution!
Am I a professional trainer?
Yes. I trained as a REPS Level 3 Personal Trainer through Fitness Industry Education, recognised as one of the leading training profivers in the industry. Before that I trained as a British Rowing
UKCC Level 2 Rowing Coach and have provided rowing coaching (on the water and Concept 2 rowing machines) to hundreds of people at Mersey Rowing Club in Liverpool. I also lead outdoor and indoor
circuit style sessions for the rowing club. Check out the “About Me“ page for more details on my biography.
Why should I spend money on a personal trainer? I can do it by myself.
Of course you can train alone. But I believe that my main purpose is to motivate you and develop a customised training programme with you that corresponds to your requirements, problems and
goals. I will mainly be your advisor. I can detect when your posture is not quite right or when you are putting too much pressure on the wrong muscles. Also I can
recommend the right exercises and training techniques to achieve your goals.
I'll also be there for you outside your hour's training session. Need some extra motivation? Need to know an alternative to an exercise? Need some advice on what training shoes to buy? I'm available through social media like Twitter and Facebook as well as by dropping a quick email. We're in this together!
How often do I have to or can I train with you?
That is entirely up to you and depends on the amount of time you have and how committed you are. Usually, I recommend my clients train with me twice a week, but that doesn't mean we can't do
more.
